Are you unsure of the Actuator you need for your solution?
Are you unsure of the Actuator you need for your solution? With so many different actuators on offer, it can be hard to know which one is best for your solution.
Before commencing your search for the ideal actuator for your project, below are some of the things you need to consider.
- Stroke Length = Do you require an open or closed position?
- Force Required = How much force is required throughout the whole operation of mechanical movement to complete the motion – KG or x10 to get Nm?
- Voltage = Will you require 12v or 24v?
- Application = What is it being used for? For example, will it be affected by saltwater – sea spray etc?
- Quantity = How many are required?
Our team are here to help! Our most popular and all-purpose Linear Actuator are from the TA2 range. From opening roofs and windows to helping manage traffic signs, the TA2 range is versatile. The compact design of the TA2 range benefits the user in the handling, mounting and alignment upon installation.
TA2 Series Linear Actuator
The compact size TA2 is perfect for use in small spaces without sacrificing force or capability. This actuator is robust and fully sealed. Designed to work well in certain outdoor environments. Limit switches are able to control the actuator stroke preventing it from moving past a set position. Options include feedback sensors, signal sending limit switches and 90-degree clevis mounting.
TA2-P Series Linear Actuator
The TA2 is a smaller version of the higher-powered TA2-P series linear actuator. The TA2-P contains a more powerful motor, making it capable of handling load ratings of up to 200kg while retaining its compact size. Limit switches are able to control the actuator stroke preventing it from moving past a set position. These actuators are robust and fully sealed, designed for heavier duty use and work well in certain outdoor environments.
